JSP is a well known manufacturer providing high quality and consistent product. All acids are fresh. This is a simple test for Silver content. You scratch your test piece on the stone and apply one drop of Silver Test Acid. A dark red color indicates .925 Silver content. (Other color indications are included with the instructions) NOTE: The testing acid can be applied directly to silverware, jewelry, coins, bars, or rounds, but will cause dulling and leave a mark. Many fine jewelry items of Sterling Silver are not marked. And of course, be aware that the presence of a mark does not necessarily mean the metal in the item actually matches the mark.
