Hey Folks: You are bidding on Two (2) Antique Thinbles & a hand crocheted Pin Cushion. The Pin Cushion was made by my mother so it is not that old but I love them. I don't sew a lick but I love the old sewing items. The 1st thimble has initials on the outside that are MMG with a sterling and a size 10. The name is on the side but I can not see it. There is a mark inside that is most definitely Simons Brothers in Philadelphia, PA - 1840 - Present Full line of sterling ware but discountinued flatware in 1908, their dies were sold to Alvin Noteworthy Arts & Crafts works who was also a major produce of Sterling & Gold thimbles. The second shorter thimble is marked 11 Sterling and has an initial mark by sterling but I can NOT for the life of me make it out. I am not an expert on silver but they are both nice thimbles.
