Greetings, This auction is for a unique silver wine taster vessel with a coin in bottom. Coin is an 1810 Spanish Colonial 8 Reales struck at the Mexico city mint. It has the bust of King Ferdinand VII. Cup is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind. Nice patina. 3-1/2" diameter plus 1-1/4" for handle. Stands 1-1/4" high. H allmark and it belongs to Lopez from Madrid, Spain (1934). The makers Mark is MG, and t is a Pentagram indicating .915 silver purity. Coin reads: FERDIN VII DEI GRATIA, 1810.
