Sterling silver souvenir spoon of The 1892 - 1893 Chicago World's Fair. The spoon is in great condition with no dings, dents, or monograms. The handle is deeply embossed with fine details of a figural bust of Columbus, "1892 - 3" on a banner around the world globe with a laurel wreath, "Chicago", a seal with lions, and lots of fancy scroll work and leaves; and the back has the back of Columbus's bust, a sailing ship on gold washed ocean waves, "Worlds Fair", and more fancy scroll work. The bowl is embossed with "Columbus at Bacelona 1893" with Columbus meeting the King & Queen of Spain and court. The spoon is marked iwth Wallace's hallmark of a stag head "RW&S" and "STERLING". The spoon is 5 7/8 inches long and weighs about 1.0 ounces. Shipping and handling is $3.00 first class mail or $6.00 priority mail with insurance optional at USPS rates and additional spoons won can be combined for $0.50 each.
