Sterling silver souvenir spoon of Denver, Colorado. The spoon is in great condition with no dings, dents, or monograms. The handle is deeply embossed front and back with great details( the details on the miner are fantastic, you can see the wrinkles in his clothes, his bolo necktie, and his suspenders) : the front has "GOLD MINER" and a full length figural miner with pick ax, The State Seal, a Indian baby in a papoose, "COLORADO" at the base, and fancy scroll work; and the back has the back of the figural gold miner, "WATER CARRIER" and a man with a burro carring two large wooden barrels, a columbine plant with flower, and more fancy scroll work. The bowl is gold washed and embossed with "STATE CAPITOL DENVER COLORADO" with a detailed view of The Capitol Building and grounds. The spoon is marked with Harveuy & Otis's hallmark of overlapping "HO" and "STERLING". The spoon is 5 3/4 inches long and weighs .85 ounces. Shipping and handling is $3.00 first class mail or $6.00 priority mail with insurance optional at USPS rates and additional spoons won can be combine for $0.50 each. Good Luck.
