Sterling silver souvenir spoon of Louisville, Kentucky. The spoon is in great condition with no dings, dents, or monograms. The handle is deeply embossed front and back with great Kentucky details: the front has The State Seal, "DANL BOONE" and his bust wearing a coon skin hat with laurel branches, "KENTUCKY" on a banner, the bust of a horse inside a horseshoe, corn plant with ears, a wooden barrow, and a tobacco plant; and the back has "STATE CAPITOL" and the building, "OLD KENTUCKY HOME" and the small log cabin with the setting sun, "DANIEL BOONE MONUMENT" and the Monument, and a laurel branch. The bowl is acid etched with "ARMORY LOUISVILLE, KY." and a beautiful detailed view of The Armory with horses in the street, flags flying high atop the building, and clouds in the sky. The spoon is marked with Watson & Newell's hallmark of an "H" inside a flag and "STERLING". The spoon is 5 3/4 inches long and weighs 1.1 ounces. Shipping and handling is $3.00 first class mail or $6.00 priority mail with insurance optional at USPS rates and additional spoons won can be combine for $0.50 each. Good Luck.
