Forbes Silver Co. was established in 1894 as a division of Meriden Britannia Silver Co. This tea service is Vintage and was part of a Historical estate in Charleston SC. One of the homes on Rainbow Row had it's estate liquidated and these 2 stunning historical pieces are now available for your purchase option. The Pieces have not been restored as someone with the proper know how should clean the pieces properly although some collectors like to leave them in as is condition to show how well the pieces have aged and for historical and sentimental value. Pieces are quite large. The tea pot is 8" tall x 10", creamer is 4" tall x 6" across The design of these pieces is extraordinary. Very detailed and lavish. Both stoic and feminine these pieces will be a fine addition to any display. Both the front and back of each piece are beautifully designed.
