Hello, Up for bid is an impressive Serving Tray/Platter made in Sterling Silver by the Graff Washbourne and Dunn company. They started creating their quality sterling products out of New York, N.Y. back in 1899. They were the successors of Wood & Hughes and were acquired by Gorham in 1961. This tray is 25 1/4 inches long and 17 3/4 inches wide. Going around the outside edge t is a thick 1/4 inch high rim which adds to the edge's height of 1 inch. The handles have an opening of 3 5/8ths inches and t is a 1/4 inch rim on the underside of these 2 openings. This item is hallmarked with Graff Washbourne Dunn , Sterling and 906 . This tray weighs approx. 7 1/4 pounds. It is HEAVY ... T is light surface scratches, keep in mind this tray is used, it hasn't been sitting around. I have piled it high with goodies many times while serving my family and friends at numerous meals and parties. It's thick and very heavy. Happy Bidding.........
