This sand (or tan - I'm not sure what the color is called) colored Stetson hat was made for singing cowboy Eddie Dean and purchased from legendary Nudie's Rodeo Tailors. It was purchased at auction, and still has the auction tag on the Stetson box. It has a unique hat band, and is in great condition. As it was custom, it does not sport a size, but I'm guessing maybe a 7 1/4" - the inside measures 7 3/4" x 6.25" - it's a really cool hat, and a piece of history!Nudie invented the rhinestone cowboy, and clothed all the greats from John Wayne to Elton John, he made Elvis Presley's famous $10,000 gold lame Nudie Suit, Hank Williams, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Gram Parsons, Sly Stone, Jimi and Janis and Aretha Franklin - they all shopped at Nudies . . . George Jones and Tammy Wynette, Porter and Dolly, Roy and Dale, Gene Autry, all the cowboy stars, even Martin Scorsese went there for his L.A. gear.
