The #1178 Regal Lion was introduced in 1996 and has been discontinued for several years. This impressive design features a Lion's Head with its stately mane sculpted within a solid block of crystal. The height is 8 1/4" which includes the distinguished walnut base with marble top. The presentation is befitting the importance of the Lion in the Animal Kingdom. Definitely an appropriate corporate and personal gift and a wonderful addition to any Steuben Glass collection. When last sold by Steuben Glass, the price was $4200 plus tax and delivery. Signed and in excellent condition---always a major factor when buying Steuben Glass on the resale market--and especially on eBay.
