For your consideration we are auctioning 7 gorgeous art glass wine glasses made by Steuben, Pattern #7737. This pattern was first started circa 1937. The glasses are 6" high and 3" in diameter at the top. They have a trumpet shaped bowl with a bubble extending through the wafer stem. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or flea bites. All are monogrammed with the initial "K". They are marked with an etched S for Steuben on the bottom. Each glass comes in its own original flannel drawstring dustbag with the Steuben label sewn on the front. The glasses are in their original box as shown.

About Steuben glass:

Steuben Glass Works was incorporated in 1903 by Thomas Hawkes, president of a glass engraving firm, and Frederick Carder, an English glass maker who was well known for colorful art noveau glass. During the Arts and Crafts movement, Steuben made fabulous glass shades for Roycroft lamps. Acquired by Corning Glass Works in 1918, research yielded a glass of extremely high refractive quality that allowed the whole spectrum of a light wave to pass through, including the ultraviolet waves. This is the material for which Steuben is renowned today.

Shipping prices at checkout include a $5 handling fee. Shipping prices are estimated on box size / weight and include the handling fee for packaging materials. Prices are non-negotiable . We will gladly combine shipping when possible, however we still charge the handling fee for each item combined. Local pick up in the store is welcome and the handling fee and local sales tax apply to all local transactions. Sales tax must be paid on all items sold that are delivered within the state of Colorado. We reserve the right to ship with any shipping provider for any item.

Why do we charge a $5 handling fee?

We determined the handling fee by taking a year's cost of packaging materials divided by the number of items sold that year. To cover our costs, we charge the average cost per package. Some packages take more in materials, some take less. For example, to ship stereo speakers costs about $30 in materials. To avoid changing the handling fee with each item we sell, we charge an average.
