Steuben Verre de Soie Bowl, Hawkes Engraving

This wonderful bowl measures 8" in diameter and 3 1/4" tall. It was the large bowl of a berry bowl set. The glass is the beautiful, shimmering Steuben Verre de Soie. The lovely garland and floral decoration was done by Hawkes. The polished pontil has part of the floral pattern engraved over it. In a small space, and very difficult to see are the letters " KES". T was one remaining small bowl that was part of the set, and it was more clearly marked so that you could see the complete name Hawkes. The bowl has been used. T is some wear on the outside base, and t are light utensil marks on the interior base. But, no chips, cracks, or other damage. It is lucky to have survived the use, the lady from whom I purchased it said that 5 of the 6 small bowls were broken. I wish that I could have gotten better photos for you. Verre de Soie is so hard to photograph, and my camera isn't the greatest. Write if t is a shot that you would like me to try. Shipping by USPS Priority Mail.
