You are bidding on an original tongue tiki mug from the Beverly Hills restaurant, The Luau, owned by Steve Crane. Gabe Florian designed the mugs and Steve Crane Associates produced the mugs for the restaurant. The restaurant was a popular place in the 50's and 60's with Hollywood stars, but was closed and torn down in 1979. This is a collector's item! Please note, t are small chips on both ears as well as a superficial crack on the top of the mug. This mug has been talked about on the WBGL Morning Show with Tim & Pam as the ultimate white elephant gift! 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this mug will benefit listener supported, Family Friendly WBGl, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
