You are bidding on a (RARE) 2001 Solo Spirit, Mission Control T-Shirt, Security Badge and Parking Pass along with a BIG BONUS ITEM. A Solo Spirit Launch Team Credential. This staff pass is the credentials needed for the balloon launch in Austrailia. I had the opportunity to work at mission control in the media center at Washington University in St. Louis answering phone calls from the media from all over the world. It was a blast. I got to meet everyone behind the scenes and take a look at the progress and hear some of the live interviews with Steve so i had all the information for the media when they called. When I got t, they gave me 2 shirts and all the other passes. One of the shirts was to wear when I worked in the center. The extra shirt and the passes I received and wore, have been kept in a sealed plastic bag since then. The shirt and passes were taken out once so I could take photos to list the items. Now is your chance to own a very(RARE) piece of history. The size of the shirt is XL. On August 4 th , 2001 at 7:06am Australian time, Steve Fossett launched his balloon, Solo Spirit into the early morning sky at Northam, Western Australia.
