This is the real-deal, "Ref: SM3" car from the original Steve McQueen Collection issued by FLY 6-7 years ago ! Not the currently offered "Camera Car" ! Condition of model New, Mint, Perfect. And the box too is Perfect ! These models were long awaited to get when they were first released, being preceded by the Porsche 908 Steve drove at Sebring, and a LeMans Porsche 908 "Flunder" Camera Car. The designation on the box reads: "Ref: SM3." As you can see, this model, as received, comes inside a protective cardboard sleeve. And the way FLY presented it, with Steve McQueen's picture inside the box is first cabin ! A truly unique piece ! These were limited production models. Of all the recent offerings in the 1/32 slot car realm, these continue to be among the most difficult to find ! If you ever watched the movie "LeMans", starring Steve McQueen, you know how "serious" these monsters were. They were built in an era w people designed race cars. Not computers.
