What more needs to be said about Steven Gerrard. Gerrard has been described as one of the greatest English midfielders in history. In 2005, Gerrard was honoured as the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year and won the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. Additionally, he has been named to the PFA Team of the Year seven times, the UEFA Team of the Year and FIFA World XI three times, he was named PFA Players' Player of the Year in 2006 and the FWA Footballer of the Year in 2009.The jersey was worn during the FA Cup Semi-Final Match (Liverpool v. Everton) on April 14, 2012. You can see some snags in the material, some dirt, and more (as stated in the Certificate of Authenticity). The jersey features the FA RESPECT and FA CUP patches. It appears as though flaws in the FA RESPECT patch can be matched to Getty Images #142872324.The Certificate of Authenticity for the shirt reads as follows: A Steven Gerrard Game-Used #8 Liverpool FC Home Shirt from the 4/14/2012 FA Cup Semi-Final between Liverpool & Everton at Wembley Stadium in London, England. A stunning home top with nice use and details from the FA Cup Semi-Finals. A fine example coming out of the Merseyside club. The shorts were worn during the 2011/2012 English Premiere League season. There are a few stains on the shorts which are clearly visible. I'm not sure if the shorts were also worn during the FA Cup.
