This is a Stewart Double 10 Vertical Twin Steam Engine. It is not the best built engine I have seen but the bearings are all close fitting and run quietly. Running it on compressed today there were some leaks from the valve box & pipework. I think that if the various gaskets were replaced it would be a good reliable engine. There is a low starting price and no reserve. Please note that I have a set of reversing levers, etc. & 4 cylinder drain valves on other Ebay auctions. The engine will be sent by a 48 hour courier insured for the full sale price. If you are thinking about bidding from outside mainland UK please ask for a shipping price first. Payment to be by PayPal or Cash on Collection. I noticed that I forgot to mention that the engine has both Marine & Stationary Flywheels. They are both shown in the last photo.
