RARE T.Stewart made iron stamped "Eddie Loos" and 3 iron on the toe .. Edward W.N."Eddie" Loos born in N.Y.C. in 1896 learned and played at the Van Cortlandt Park Golf Coruse. He became head pro atThe Philadelphia Cricket Club in 1916 . In 1917 Eddie finished 3rd in the Patriotic Open a substitute for The U.S.Open. Later that year he won The Shawnee Open by 7 strokes against a very strong field. He left The Cricket Club to join the navy in 1918. After the war he teamed up with Jim Barnes for some exhibition play before moving to Chicago where he worked as a golf pro. From there he moved to Cal. where he won their State Open in 1921. He later wrote several instruction articles for The American Golfer magazine. Loos had 3 wins and 13 2nd place finishes on the P.G.A. tour after 1921. This club is 39 1/2" long with beautiful grip and straight shaft and super tight fit at the joint.
