I am not an expert on early furniture, but know a great chair when I see one! This one has everything going for it. It is a Stickley Bros. Rocker. It is in all original unrefinished condition, from the red leather seat which is tacked with brass tacks all around, to the beautiful original finish on the oak throughout. It also has it's original paper oval label underneath the seat which is crisp, and perfect. The label is affixed to the chair with a single nail in the center. It is guaranteed genuine through and through! The paper label reads Made By Stickley Bros. Co. Grand Rapids Mich. This is an early mark for the firm! The bottom of the seat, nor any other part of this chair was ever disassembled! I have tried to show in my pics a close up of this label. I certainly will send additional photos if reqested. The chair is oak I believe and quarter sawn at that. It has usual wear from being around since 1910 or so, but needs absolutely nothing done to it. It is tight and solid all around. It will be professionally packaged at a shipping firm in Southeastern Wisconsin and sent out to anyw in the USA (Lower 48) for $65.00. If shipping costs come in less, I will refund any balance to you. I welcome questions you may have on this chair, as again I am no expert on mission style furniture. are the dimensions on the Rocker. From floor to top of back it is 32" tall. It is 15 1/2 " deep from front to back. It measures 17" across the front face of the seat. It in my opinion is about a 3/4 size Rocker in relation to an average size chair. Unique size, on a stellar piece. I have set a very modest reserve on this chair to protect our investment. When it's all said and done the highest bidder may walk away with this beautiful item. Thanks and Good Luck! You can certainly pick this chair up if so desired to save on shipping costs. I actually prefer it!
