Large Stickley Brothers Oak Footstool, # 394-1/2
Stickley Brothers heavy Arts & Crafts oak foot stool w/ Mackmurdo foot detail. Original finish. Large size: 14" X 20" X 15" tall. Signed w/ SB factory inkstamped production number 394-1/2 on the inside of the side stretcher. In addition, the nail remains that held the (missing) oval paper label to the corner block. No cushion included. Solid. Very good condition. This stool is designed to have a 4" thick cushion, making the overall height 17", which is the height listed in their 1910 catalog reprint photo, shown below. Nice original Stickley Brothers finish...the finish color is slightly darker/less golden than photos appear, which were taken in bright sunlight. $5 packing fee. Insured shipping paid by buyer (Fed Ex Ground or USPS). PayPal, MO, or check payment is due w/in 7 days.
