Antique Stickley Brothers Oak Magazine Stand #4804
Beautiful original finish! Manufactured by Stickley Brothers Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan, circa 1908-14. Unmarked. Interesting form w/ slats arrangements to side and back, rounded posts, and side panel cutout. Richly colored original medium brown finish. No overcoat or stains to shelves. Heavy in weight...almost 30 lbs...made from quartersawn oak. Measures 19-1/2" wide, 15" deep, and 36" tall. Minor wear to wood and finish. Very good condition. Note: Actual finish color of the stand is just slightly darker and browner (less golden) than the photos show. Pics taken in direct sunlight. If you have the reference material, you can find #4804 in the early Stickley Brothers catalog reprints...1908 (page 49), the 1912 (page 47), and the 1914 (page 50, the image shown below). $40 box fee to have pro-packed.
