Over the next several months, I will be selling vast collections of wonderful vintage antiques which I have lovingly accumulated over the past 50 years, as I am now downsizing. I will be listing on Ebay some lovely vintage Mission style rockers, chairs and couches; telephone and library tables, a stenciled Art Deco dining room set and much, much more. This auction is for a one of two wonderful and very unusual Stickley era Mission style Catholic Kneelers (Prayer Bench) I am listing on Ebay. My other auction's has been completely refinished, down to the removable wooden lattice confessional screen. This one needs to be completely refinished. It was my goal to do it, however, I never got around to it. It is definitely a handy man's special as both legs need to also be reglued a bit; but what a gem it will be when it is finished. This beautiful period kneeler came from a now demolished Detroit area Roman Catholic church, which was designed in Mission style. This lovely kneeler measures approximately 20.0" across by 34.0" high and 20.5" in width from front to back. Just look at the lovely detailing in the prayer book holder under the hand rest and the mission cross. Simply wonderful. This auction is a PICK UP only.
