Footstool / bench seat by L.& J.G. Stickley. Leather is in poor condition and needs to be replaced in the color of your choosing. (It appears to be the original upholstery, with the original tacks, and has had tape placed over the surface, which I removed). The wood is not bad, has the usual marks and scratches consistent with it's age. The only real issues with the wood are one loosening cross-tenon joint , and one leg is showing a split forming at one edge, (see photo). These are easy repairs for a furniture craftsman, I could have done them myself prior to the sale, but I believe any serious Stickley collector would prefer them to be performed by a professional. The piece is strong and sturdy. It measures 20" w x 16" h x 13 1/2" d. I ship to the North American continent.
