Stickley Mission Pedestal Dining Table - NO RESERVE!
This is a gorgeous authentic Stickley dining table, a reproduction made in the '90s to original specifications, by the Stickley company in Manlius NY, signed and dated. It is 46" in diameter, and has two 15" aproned leaves. The pedestal splits when the leaves are in, making it incredibly stable at any size. The top - and ONLY the top - needs to be refinished. The finish on top (including the leaves) was damaged, but the wood underneath it is fine. The rest of the piece is also in very good condition. The top is about an inch thick - it could tolerate repeated refinishing, if that was ever necessary. Since this thing is built to last a few hundred years, that might matter to your descendants! This table, even with the leaves in, is ROCK-SOLID, and mechanically in perfect condition. The table was in daily use by a family until about a month ago and accordingly may have minor dings, nicks, scuffs, etc., but any such flaws are insignificant. The chairs shown with the table in the pictures are NOT included in this auction, however they are listed separately in another auction of mine (please see it), and are an excellent match for the table. They are superb, genuine antiques (not reproductions!), and are likely to be Stickley originals though they are not marked. SHIPPING: This auction is for local pickup in Santa Monica CA, ONLY (zip code 90405). We recommend a commercial trucking service such as Plycon or others if you are not local, and we will work happily with your shipper to coordinate pickup.
