Stillwater Dodge Power Wagon RARE Texaco First Gear 480 History of the Stillwater Garage Dodge Power Wagon The Stillwater Garage was located in Stillwater NJ. Originally a Blacksmith Shop it was later transformed into a Service Station with two bays in front, and a Bay that could be entered from the rear of the building that was suited for larger trucks. The Power Wagon was in use into the late 70's as the primary wrecker for the business. In the 80's the "Stillwater Garage" was sold to an individual who owns it to this day and runs an antique automobile restoration service in it. The name of the garage is now "The Old Stillwater Garage." The Power Wagon was retired and parked in the woods of northern New Jersey in the 80's. In 1992 the son of the owner that last ran the station in the 70's, and last used the Power Wagon as the primary wrecker located the truck in the woods, and restored it to it's original condition as reflected by the First Gear model. The restoration of the 1948 Stillwater Garage Power Wagon was completed in June of 1997. Since completion the truck has won many awards at many car shows, and Daimler Chrysler leased it in 1999 to appear center stage of the Dodge Display at the annual Truck Exposition in Detroit.
