This is a good old-fashioned auction - no reserve. Starting bid is RIDICULOUS. Anytime I do this, I know I am taking a chance - lets have fun and see what happens. Iam selling my favorite garden goodies!!! These are items I have beendecorating my shop and garden with for the last 20 years. It seems like it is time to unload some amazing pieces and actually price these treasured finds to sell. DESCRIPTION : This is a very durable, beautiful and unusual stone planter with a plumbed drainage hole and has more than enough planting space for a one gallon plant. It is unique in shape because of the wavy, notched rim but also style as it is designed with six faces of Athena, The Goddess of War, encircle this amazing piece . No matter which side faces you, you can see the beauty and feel her power. What is especially nice is the classic weatd white patina, it is a very traditional and sophisticated antique white, very nice color which works indoors too. This planter was featured in the 2002 Smith & Hawken Spring Catalog. The container measures 8" tall and is more than 12" wide and weighs about 20 lbs., give or take. As you can see this casting has small pocks and general erosion from the original planter, but unlike that item which was clearly deteriorating this casting is solid and secure and fully intact .
