Burgess Dorling & Leigh Established 1851 Stoke-on-Trent ONE Stonewall Kitchen Large Flora Platter is new, and has never been in use. Measuring approximately 16.5" Long X 12.5" High, this turkey size platter features a Border Only trim. Upon close inspection, the serving area has light scratches. Handcrafted in England. Edged with the charming Flora pattern, this platter is a classic example of traditional brown transferware. Handcrafted in England and dishwasher safe . According to "Burleigh, The Story of Pottery," the Flora pattern was one of Burgess & Leigh's 19th century engraved patterns, having been first produced prior to 1888 . A wonderful addition to any ironstone or Burleigh. Please Note: Second photo includes Martha Stewart's Burleigh Faux Bois rimmed soup bowl--available in a separate listing. Burleigh's brown transferware patterns compliment each other wonderfully!! This item has no chips, cracks or repairs.
