This is a ( HAND CARVED ) Stopper that I got, from an Estate sale in southern california. The owner was a Capt. in the Airforce. He was stationed in Germany at the end of WW11. during the American occupation of Germany. So, that puts the date of this item at 1945 or before. It was well cared for, it is in GREAT CONDITION. The figure looks to be hand painted and is carved with great detail to every thing , hands , face, hat,hair, shoes, suit, and the instrument. The figure is 4.5 inches tall with the cork .With out the cork the figure alone is 3.25in. No cracks or chips . I am a new seller on E-Bay, so,I do not have a feedback score as of now. I would like to let you know, that I am for the duration. I plan on being a seller for years to come. I LOVE the research, I do, ON ALL MY ITEMS.
