The illustrations in Straight Arrow were of the highest quality. This beautiful old cover , by Frank Frazetta, still retains really nice clarity and reflectivity. Art is contributed by Fred Meagher (3 stories), Bob Powell and others. Cover Spine: T is a 1/2" split at the top and light wear. T is a slight spine roll. Front cover: Has light stress lines, light chipping on BE/TE, light creasing, faint discoloration by SPE. See picture. Back Cover: T are light stress tears on TE, light creasing, a pc missing in the BOC, some faint discoloration on back cover and inside front/back covers. Scan on request. Interior Pages: Pages are supple, and mostly creamy and offwhite. T are no missing pages in the interior. T is a sm pc of tp rpr to SPE at TS on inside front cover. Book has no mildew, brittleness or acidic odor and is tight, flat and secure at staples unless otherwise noted. Since I've owned this book, it has been boarded and bagged and kept in comic book boxes in a climate controlled warehouse. Although the grade of a comic book is based upon an accumulation of defects, or the absence of them, it is not practical to list everything about every book. I have listed some of the significant issues (good and bad) that have raised or lowered the overall grade for this book in my opinion.
