This Quaker cotton quilt comes from the Hannum family of Chester County, Pennsylvania, and measures 89" x 86" and has about 8 stitches per inch. It is in good condition and dates from around the 1860's to 1870's. This quilt has many early and very beautiful fabrics..especially in the browns and blues. Even the backing is a beautiful early fabric. This quilt has a very dramatic visual appeal and would be pretty hung on a wall or used on a bed.The quilts that we deal in are genuine, authentic, original, hand made, hand quilted beautiful antique quilts.
