This looks like a fun game from 1961 that became the official licensed board game of a TV auto racing show at the time. Show characters appear on the cover while the inside is a more generic depiction with 6 different color metal racer play pieces to race around an oval illustrated track. A clear plastic shaker with 6 different color balls to represent the cars determines the positioning and moves of the cars. It appears to be a clever recreation of board game racing. Condition-wise this game shows it's age with wear to the outer cover from shelf-wear, handling and storage. It has some stain spots on the cover and what appears to be foxing or age spotting on the box tray, as well as the outer game board and the box insert. The game directions are printed on the game insert. The metal cars have some amount of paint wear from use. The game is complete and ready for play or display.
