Watkins-Pitchford B.B First Edition Published By Eyre And Spottiswoode In 1948 "The purpose of this book, says the author, " Is to tell anyone how they can have running water in the garden, even if they live miles from the nearest stream. The cost will not be prohibitive, a ten pound note will cover it...... " This book from my own collection is in fantastic condition for its age. The boards are fine, the binding tight and the pages clean - free from inscriptions. The dust jacket, which is not price clipped is in very good condition,( which is rare for copies of this book ) with just a slight scuff at the top of the spine and a little edge wear on the inside top rear edge. , you will struggle to find a better copy.
