Great item, rare find. is an original brass sidewalk marker removed directly from a sidewalk near Boston College. T markers are now scarce and only seen in historic parts of Boston, Massachusetts (including places like Fanuel Hall Marketplace and the Freedom Trail) Simpson Brothers did a lot of granolithic work in historic Boston. This marker is between 75 and 100 years old and measures approximately 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 1/2 inches. T are three prongs in the back to set in concrete. This would clean up real nice if someone chooses to polish it up. The shamrock shape is a nice added bonus which I have not seen before. Good Luck bidding. A photo of one still in the sidewalk has recently been added.
