STRIKE A LIGHT BAG - KIOWA: museum quality reproduction of a 1870s Great Plains KIOWA strike a light bag.... 5 ¾" (not including tin cone fringe, twisted buckskin drops and belt strap) by 3 ¾".... elk sinew beaded on old harness leather.... braintanned buckskin fringe with hand made and antiqued tin cones.... great seed beads: dark translucent red, turquoise, chalk white, pink.... just like the ORIGINAL piece after which this reproduction was made, the reverse side is also beaded.... German silver button.... antiqued old-style hollow brass beads on carrying strap.... all beading is done in genuine elk sinew.... great overall patina.... looks and feels like a Buffalo Days / Indian Wars artifact, but is offered at a much more attractive price.... this is a REPRODUCTION, not a FAKE.... all in all you get a TOP QUALITY strike a light bag for your money.... it would make a great decoration piece or could be used by reenactors.... those of you who prefer to waste BIG money on a FAKE strike a light bag that's advertised as REAL & AUTHENTIC and came from a famous collection (that nobody has ever heard of), have to look somew else.... you get YOUR MONEY'S WORTH and don't have to worry about having to get an AUTHENTICATION later that proves your stunning new acquisition to be a FAKE.... airmail to the USA: $15....
