Striking 19thC Colorful Embroidered Chinese Skirt Album Album Album Album Album An original 19th century traditional Chinese wraparound skirt in a pleasing green with a blue woven silk waistband and a blue figured silk lining and facing. Bound at the gores, and trimmed in embroidered gimp in a classic motif that includes forbidden stitches. A shell button and twill tape closure. A full vent beneath the center panel, and inverted side pleats. As shown, 45" across the waistband and 37" deep. In presentable as found condition, with some color variation, some small frays, spotting and soiling, most to the lining, and some missing facing to the back as shown.
