This is a truly splendid and extremely rare chandelier from the french Art deco period, made around 1930. The maker of this chandelier was the renowned illumination company Ezan. The entire surface of the fixture is chrome-plated. The chandelier is equipped with three, different-sized glass disks. Each glass disk has a frosted surface, the two smaller ones show beautiful, melting icicle glass elements. Underneath the chandelier has a thick-walled glass bowl all around decorated with melting icicles. The bowl is signed by Ezan (see picture below). The chandelier gives off a warm and atmospheric light and looks absolutely great, - no matter, if it is illuminated or not. The chandelier is in excellent, used condition, all glass elements are free from any damage. The electric was recently renewed (wired to European standard) and must be converted to U.S. currency. The chromium-plate has preserved it's brightness, there are only very few, small scratches but regarding it's age, one can truly state a over all good condition. The brass ball screw below has lost it's chromium-plate. Please notice that the chandelier has partly be disassembled for the shipping.
