Hello you are looking at A Stromberg Carlson 1956 Shortwave Radio. Model AWP-8 Analog multi-band with brownish red leather case chassis. Radio is in amazing condition. As if brand new. Hardly any blemishes whatsoever on the reddish leather case. All functions work. Antennae works perfectly in straight mint condition. Have not tested the lock but looks clean. Handle appears lightly used in excellent condition. Beautifully made barometer, temperature and humidity gauges in working order. All dials are there and turn smooth, glass over tuner is perfect. Tubes work great. Radio came in on my local stations. Speakers sounded great and i played it pretty loud, just to check. Cord wheel works perfect as well as the stopper for that. Feet are accounted for and in excellent condition. Comes with warranty envelope and schematic. Electrical cord has been repaired at some point, hardly noticeable. Overall this would have to be the nicest vintage radio i have ever seen. It is in like new condition, literally in COLLECTORS CONDITION MINT!!!.
