Description: Super Rare Stromberg-Carlson "Gibson Girl" tandem wood crank two-box telephone - Nice with original parts. Called a "Gibson Girl" due to its clipped corner and curved inward center backboard similar to a lady's waist. Called a tandem because it has two batteries one above the other. T are lots of similar Stromberg phones on eBay with straight side backboard and single battery or side by side batteries. These are fairly common and do not demand a very high price. Only the "Gibson Girl" tandem is worth it. Markings: STROMBERG-CARLSON TELEPHONE MFG. CO. ROCHESTER, N.Y.
