Ginny is about 8 inches and made of hard plastic. She does not walk, she is a strung doll. She is one of the first ones from early 1950's. The strung dolls were made before the Walking Ginny dolls. She has her original blonde mohair wig, no missing plugs, painted eyebrows and painted eyelashes. Her eyes are brown and are stationary. Perhaps, the eyes are replacement. Otherwise, she is all original, with no other touch ups. Her lips are still red, her coloring is even all over. The only mark she has is a small black mark on her tummy. She has all of her fingers and toes. Ginny is wearing a cute skating outfit. The dress is green velveteen with white fur, I don't know if the fur is real or faux. Her hat is cute, it is made of the same green material, with flowers and a bell on the back. The dress and hat are very bright colors, and in excellent shape, no tears, rips, etc. Her pantied are green, but are faded and the elastic is stretched out. She is wearing vintage ice skates, in good condition. The blades are still on. Her dress is tagged Vogue Dolls Inc. Bedford Mass USA Reg US Pat Off in black lettering. She is marked Vogue Doll on her back. She is a simply darling little doll.
