Stuart Abelman's Violet Raised Cobweb Paperweight!! Stunning is the word for this Violet Raised Cobweb Paperweight. Pictures are of actual piece that are taken under a light tent to reduce glare. It stands 2 5/8" tall, is 3 1/8" wide, and weighs 1 lb., 5 oz. Item is new, direct from the studio, signed Abelman, 31RCW, 2015.Stuart Abelman is a master in the ancient art of glass blowing. At his studio in California, each piece of art glass is individually hand worked and infused with the elegance of his creative style. The colors are achieved by adding precious metals such as gold and silver to the molten glass. By layering the different colors of molten glass and using metal tools to handwork them, the patterns are created.
