This auction is for one Sterling-Gilt decorative egg made by Stuart Devlin, a noted silversmith in London. It measures about 3 inches tall when closed and is approximately 2 inches at its widest girth. Inside are three enameled flowers in green, white, and red colors. The flowers are suspended on tiny wires that make the flowers jiggle when moved. Both the top and bottom are hallmarked with the proper English marks for the year 1968. It is in excellent condition.The egg was originally sold at the Jaccard's jewerly store in Kansas City, MO. It is numbered 259 out of we think an issue of 300.
