This is a Stuart Models S. T. Oscillator casting kit. Contents of dit includes: brass stampings, brass extrusions, bar stock, 'O' ring, gaskets, gland packing, fixings and drawings.The S. T. Oscillator has recently been reintroduced by Stuart Models following many requests from their customers for a small reliable engine suitable for powering small boats.It is both an attractive and powerful engine, which can be arranged in lines with one engine's crankshaft connected to the next engine's flywheel to create a compact yet impressive marine unit. It is powerful, but it is not big enough to drive a dynamo.The gunmetal cylinder which is lagged, is double-acting. The standard is hard brass, the crankshaft, disc and crankpin are steel. The crankshaft is 5/32" diameter and will accept standard 4mm marine propshaft, couplings, gears, ect. The kit is supplied with clear instructions and can be built by the youngest beginner. Specifications: Bore 7/16 inch, Stroke 7/16 inch, Working Pressure 45 psi, Discwheel Diameter 1 inch Overall dimensions of the engine: 2-1/8" Long x 1" Wide X 2-1/2" High
