This is a spectacular red tourmaline and diamond ring that is going to the highest bidder when the clock runs down. I was appointed by this collector of rare historical jewelry to sell portions of his collections to test the fair market value of his pieces. This stately gentleman now living in London has sent me some of this collection to sell in the USA because we have determined the Ebay market to be stronger in the USA however everyone is invited to bid as I ship world-wide which is a speciality of mine. This collection spans 3 centuries and includes many styles. The items are all made of 22k 18k & 14K gold, handmade with all genuine gemstones. As you can see the handmade Indian designs are quite unique and heavily garnished with gems. Most of these items were made for the very wealthy family of the British Indian Trading Company and elite aristocrats. Remember that I have never sold any "faux" items in 6 years and never will so you may bid with confidence.
DESCRIPTION: This is a spectacular ring with an exotic red tourmaline surrounded by 100 white diamonds. I am going to sell this no matter the final price so be sure to get your best bid in before the clock runs down. The red tourmaline is 6.7 carats and measures 9x11mm and set with 14k yellow gold prongs, this is an exotic stone featuring a reddish garnet color with a purple color change. It is surrounded by 100 diamonds with a carat weight of 1.5 and a grading of "H-I" color and "SI" clarity. The head of the ring measures 32x32mm with an intricate design of open work inbetween the diamonds, many of the diamonds are set into marquise shapes giving it a radiant "burst" design. The diamonds and tourmaline weigh 8.2 carats together and all the stones are genuine earth mined as always so you may bid with confidence. Under the head are many 14k gold prongs that loft the head 14mm off the finger for a prominent display. This one is for the true gemstone lover, no one else will show up with one like it nor could they buy one in a store. This ring has a 14k yellow gold ring shank (marked inside) and weighs 8.8 grams. It is also a size 7. The highest bidder will get to add this to her collection. Do not miss these pieces, they are very difficult to obtain and very limited.
