This absolutely stunning diamond pendant features 7 european cut diamonds that are flush set into a graceful 18k white gold teardrop. The three largest diamonds are calculated to weigh .60, .21 and .14 carats each. T are 2 additional accent diamonds set on each side of the middle diamond, as well as a .05 carat baguette set in the bale, for a total combined weight of 1.08 carats ! As you can see from the photos of this spectacular piece, the diamonds are well matched SI clarity, H-I color stones, which means that the diamonds are very white (no hints of yellow) with no eye visible imperfections. This is not a reproduction piece. It was purchased directly from a reputable dealer of fine antique jewelry that authenticated both the era (1920s) and the description provided above. When you are looking to purchase jewelry on eBay, you will notice that some sellers photograph their jewelry from a distance, or do not show their items face up. Although many of the sellers blame their camera, it is more likely that they are trying to conceal flaws in the jewelry. I photograph all of my items at very close range using magnification under natural lighting conditions. As the photos of this pendant reveal, the diamonds are superb, well matched gems with excellent cut, color and clarity (the 3 C's you should look for in every diamond). The pendant measures 26 mm long including the bale and is 9.25 mm at the widest point. This graceful, one of a king pendant is suspended from a 16.5" 14k white gold, antique chain that is included.
