*For those of you new to my Site I offer an array of Outstanding Antique Quilts and Quilt Tops, acquired from the Tri-State area of Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas
*My Quilts are acquired from Old Estates in the area, that I handle for local Attorneys that Probate Wills. I try my best, when available, to share with you, any history and information I have on each Quilt.
*This auction is for an A++ STUNNING, Folk Art, African American, Housetop, Bars, Quilt Top

*This is a Spectacular piece of Folk Art Textile History!!

*Measurements: 80" x 88"

*Fabric: Cottons. This SPECTACULAR Old Quilt Top is made from Old Scraps from Mens Shirts. The Maker of this Quilt worked for an Anglo Woman that worked in an Old Sewing Factory in the Piney Woods, many many years ago. Each day the Anglo Woman would bring home the left over scraps from the Days Work at the Factory and share them with the African American Woman, and she made Quilts out of them. The most amazing thing about this Quilt Top is that some of the scraps show the actual numbers and lettering on them from the bolts of shirting fabric. Totally amazing!! An INCREDIBLE Quilt Top!!!

*This is a VERY Folky African American Quilt Top and displays beautifully!
