Up for auction is a stunning Hand Painted and Signed Royal Vienna cabinet cup and saucer. The set has 4 portraits with one signed C. Harr âe" 2 on the cup and 2 on the saucer. The cup is rectangular and measures 2 1⁄2âe wide 1 1⁄2âe deep and 2 1⁄4âe in height. The portraits are 1 3/8ths wide and 1 3⁄4âe in height. One portrait shows a woman in a library and the other shows a woman in elegant dress holding a fan. The colors are fantastic and very detailed. The saucer is 4âe wide and 4 1⁄2âe deep. The is one painting of a house on a hillside and the other is of a lake scene. They measure 1 3⁄4âe wide and 1 1⁄4âe in height. The pieces are a deep maroon color and in very near mint condition. T is very very slight rubbing of the gilding, a charcoal mark, which is common in old porcelain on the bottom inside corner of the cup. The gilding is gold beaded around the paintings and some of the designs are also beaded, but in a very light blue. The bottom of the saucer has the beehive mark along with the number 382.
