ANTIQUE PIANO LAMP & SHADE At auction with no reserve price is a antique piano lamp that is just gorgeous. Not only gorgeous but fully functional. Check out the glass globe and the sheer elegance and how they correspond with each other. Can you see this on your piano or other piece of furniture. I am not an expert in metal so this may be cast copper. I checked it with a magnet and it did not stick. The base is not cracked or has it had any repairs. The globe has a chip w it sets inside the holder. It does not show at all. I belive that someone had tightened up one of screws a little too tight at one time. The rest of the globe is free of any other chips, cracks, flakes, or repairs. Total height is 13 1/2", globe diameter is 5" and 5" tall, base length is 7 1/2", depth is 3 5/8". The lady playing the string instrument is about 5 1/2" from the table. You may want to consider putting a piece of felt on the bottom before you set on your fine furniture. I did a search on Ebay and this is the only one like this listed at this time. So I am thinking this must quite a rare lamp and very old. You will be very pleased with this purchase all the way from the item to packaging and shipping time. Because this is a no reserve auction the highest bidder will own this when the auction ends!
