STUNNING ANTIQUE ENGLISH 15K GOLD DROP EARRINGS c1840 A stunning pair of antique solid high carat gold earrings with textured surfaces, applied floral motifs and their original drops and wires. A fabulous pair of drops in superb original condition - so wearable and very collectable! CONDITION : All original and very, very good. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use. No dents or obvious damage etc. Possibly a tiny ornament missing from the upper part of each? DEFECTS : None. DATE/MARKS : Around 1840/50. Not marked. DIMENSIONS : Total drop 68 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter. WEIGHT : Approx. 4.3 grams total. our other auctions.
