Easily the coolest nutcracker we've ever owned. This one is old and very heavy. Very dense wood. We're guessing from the first part of the 1900's, but that's only a guess. Definitely an old one. Classic European look with 5 teeth on top AND bottom of mouth. Protuding lower jaw. Olive drab coat with red-ish scarf or collar. Condition is nice for age. Obvious paint wear on top and side of head and on top of base. Nutcracker stands about 10 inches tall. Base is about 3 3/4" wide. Back handle about 4 1/4" long from edge of body to end of handle. Only the slightest wobble to handle & nut-cracking jaws. We will ship to Europe for $26. This one is a real find. All original paint. Other than paint wear, we do not see any real problems. We do not see any chips. Looks like one minor wood split on side of left shoe. Minor but t We do not find any maker mark or indication of country of origin. We do suspect made in Germany.
