Wow, what a gorgeous piece! Let me start by saying it is much lighter than it appears in my photos, which don't do it justice. T are tons of applied porcelain roses and foliage all around the base. The beautiful young woman is seated and leaning forward to put her arms around the nude child. It is obviously mother and son. The boy is also holding a bouquet of flowers. The lady has a large, full, porcelain lace skirt. It is in great condition. T may be a dew chipped petals, t are 3 chipped areas of ruffle in the back at the bottom of her skirt but its so ruffley you don't notice. Please enlarge all photos to get an idea of the beauty of this figurine. The hand painting is amazing as well. This is a heavy grouping and measures about 5.75" high and the base is 7.75" wide and 6.5" deep. It is signed on the bottom with a red anchor and L Fabris, the mark for Luigi Fabris of Italy.
